Job Description In this Associate Principal Database Administrator role, you will be a vital contributor to the design, implementation, and support of large-scale databases for one of the largest financial service organizations in the United States You will be recommending, assisting, and developing new software and upgrades, allowing you to take ownership and see tangible results in your work.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years of experience as a DBA
  • 3+ years in a DB2 z/OS environment
  • 3+ years with DB2 LUW, preferably on RedHat Linux
  • Experience in 2 or more programming and scripting languages
  • Hands-on technical proficiency in Python, SQL, NoSQL
  • Extensive knowledge of the software and hardware in their preferred environment
  • Proficiency in both PostgreSQL and SQL Server
  • Hands-on CI/CD and containerization knowledge and experience (Jenkins preferred). Desired Skills & Experience
    • Basic Java, REXX, Perl & Linux Shell script skills
    • Has a sense of urgency in their work
    • Communicates openly and effectively
