Warner Hospital and Health Services is seeking a Family Medicine Physician.  This is an exciting opportunity to become a part of a dynamic team at a designated Critical Access Hospital.  Candidates are required to have strong skills to perform a wide variety of family medicine duties, seeing patients from pediatrics to geriatrics.  The Family Medicine Physician must be board certified or board eligible.  We offer a competitive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, disability benefits, paid time off, and a retirement plan.  

Warner Hospital and Health Services is a Critical Access Hospital located in Clinton, Illinois.  CAH status allows the hospital to receive better reimbursement for Medicare patients, assuring its financial stability.  The hospital operates 25 beds.  Warner serves over 500 inpatients, 25,000 outpatients, and performs over 150 surgeries per year.  The ER services approximately 7,200 patients per year.  The ER is designated Level 3 and is staffed 24 hours a day.  Warner Hospital and Health Services is a fully equipped hospital providing services which include MRI, Spiral CT, EKG, stress testing, X-Ray, mammograms, ultrasounds, respiratory and pulmonary function testing, physical therapy, cardiac rehab and pulmonary rehab, cardiology testing, and many community support services.  The hospital also provides an outpatient clinic for visiting specialists so that patients do not have to travel far for specialty services.  Additionally, the county is served by a paramedic-level ambulance service from the hospital.  

Clinton, Illinois is located in the heart of Illinois and is centrally located to three large Illinois cities.  Clinton has a suburban feel. as it is located only 30 minutes from Decatur and Bloomington/Normal.  Champaign/Urbana, home of the University of Illinois, is only a short 45 minute drive.  A physician is able to maximize income through the affordable housing Clinton has to offer.  An excellent public school system serves the community, with neighborhood school buildings often within easy walking distance of home.  An impressive high school facility and sports complex is located near Van Buren Street shopping.  A community college, with its campus in nearby Decatur, has an extension in Clinton.  Several exceptional colleges and universities are as near as Decatur, Bloomington/Normal, and Champaign/Urbana.  The city has local amenities including restaurants, shopping, state parks, large lakes, golf courses, parks, Lincoln Heritage sites, and many festivals throughout the year.
