Managing and supporting development of all product associated with the brand


Effectively communicate and collaborate with all cross functional teams throughout the development process and into production. Ensuring that quality is maintained as well as deadlines are met in a timely fashion.  


Coordinate collection pass off from design team to technical design. Ensuring design intent is maintained while understanding technical execution challenges and resolving concerns.


Manage fabric sourcing requests from design and work directly with mills on development and required testing of quality and color.


Maintain design information and product approval record in house. 


Create and maintain sample and development WIP charts.


Working directly with factories to develop prototypes and presentation samples.


Manage development fit priority with technical team to keep to deadlines. Attend fittings through pre-production approval.


Participate in creation and negotiation of the brand T&A calendar with factories and cross functional partners. Maintain required timing among all parties.


Own and participate in costing exercises including negotiations and cost improvement opportunities.


Work within customers order processing and negotiations system including BOM set up and maintenance.


Organize department sample archive.

Qualifications of Product Developer: 

Effective verbal and written communication


Detail oriented, organized and punctual 


Ability to multi task in a fast-paced environment


Ability to adapt to changing task


Able to work independently as well as in a collaborative environment.


Positive and open approach to work and challenges


Working knowledge of retail costing and negations


Working knowledge of all Microsoft programs


Minimum 5 years of industry experience. 


Experience related to product development required


Experience in lingerie and swimwear a plus


Bachelor's degree
