Overview:
- Using the latest technology and equipment
- Provides minimally invasive surgical procedures in general, breast, bariatric, orthopedic surgery and other specialties
- Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic/treatment skills.
- Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients
- Participates in academic programs (e.g. medical education and research) as requested.
- Provides appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner.
- 7:30am start time for surgical procedures
- 5 general operating rooms, 3 GI lab rooms & 1 pain procedure room all equipped with 55 monitors.
- Each room has 4 monitors allowing the surgeons to view four different images at a time.
- In-house coverage for on the floors, rounding with surgeons, performing consultations on the floor and ER, performing bedside procedures
