Engineering Drawing Service Associate
Location: Remote, United States
Pay Rate: up to $21.15/hour
Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Mon to Fri
Responsibilities
- Operate systems used to process email and other electronic documents for drawing repositories
- Work with technical support personnel to collect appropriate data to process using proprietary applications
- Manage day-to-day interface with key account contacts, including various GM Business Units
- Search a variety of applications/databases and provide applicable documents in response for litigation discovery
Education
Required: Bachelorâs degree
Desired: Bachelorâs degree in a technical field
Experience
1 â 2 years industry experience; experience scanning aperture cards; experience scanning and printing oversized drawings
Skills
Required:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to establish priorities and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent customer service/interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to perform accurate and detail-oriented work
- Strong technical skills including college level computer training
- Familiarity with the processing of electronic documents and/or email
- Knowledge of engineering drawings, design data, and aperture cards
- Familiarity with TeamCenter, Vis View, GPDS and PEDIS
Specialty Areas
Site Coordinator
The Site Coordinator is responsible for monitoring departmental operations to ensure all aspects of customer satisfaction are met. This includes but is not limited to the following: updating and monitoring productivity metrics; delegating tasks and maintaining communication with internal and external customers.
TeamCenter Requests
Confirm and validate Engineering Work Orders (EWO), validate and quality-check drawing, and communicate directly with the engineering staff to accept or reject drawing/document submissions.
Autoweb Requests
Code, index, quality-check, and upload drawings and/or documents as a result of TeamCenter requests and submissions received directly from GM Engineering.
Scan/Drawing Requests
Fulfill GM requests for electronic and/or hardcopy drawings, and ensure requested drawings are subsequently uploaded into the appropriate GM repository for future use.
Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation-related information. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is up to $21.15/hr.
