The Best Western Corte Madera Inn has an immediate opening for a part-time on-call Breakfast Attendant/Banquet Set up. The hours are 5:30am to 11:30am.

This candidate is responsible for set-up, preparation, cleanliness and restocking items in the breakfast buffet area for our in-house guests. Maintains appearance of breakfast area, furniture, fixtures and equipment. Greets guests and insures they are comfortable and feel welcome. Receive inventory of product, check against packing list and stores items as needed. This position would also set up banquet rooms with items needed for daily meeting, ie water, coffee, tea, hot water, etc. This is position has heavy customer service interaction. Candidate must have or the ability to obtain the Food handlers Certification within 30 days of hire.

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicant should possess basic math skills.

Applicant must be able to reach, bend, stoop, frequently lifting up to 20 pounds.

Applicant must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).

Applicant must have or be able to receive the Food Handler's Certification card within 30 days of employment.

Applicant should have an outgoing personality to interact with guests.

Applicant must have neat, clean appearance.

Applicant must be organized.

Applicant must work well with little or no supervision.

Applicant should be knowledgeable about area and local attractions.

While performing the duties of the job, the applicant will be regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; and talk or hear.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Applicant must be able to obtain Food Handlers Certification within 30 days.
