Section 1: Position Summary

Manage case work and work-flow of assigned cases and ensure that the best and most appropriate resources are designated to support the development of any case. This role will have a direct impact on the successful acquisition of new clients and the ongoing servicing of current clients.

Section 2: Job Functions, Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain plan design templates for the NQ Consulting team
  • Provide sales support for the NQ Consulting team
  • Complete necessary compliance documentation related to the placement of securities
  • Maintain prospect and client databases
  • Prepare fee schedules and draft service agreements
  • Self-starter working in a fast-paced, demanding environment under tight deadlines
  • Focuses on learning in everyday activities and events
  • Collaborates with and openly shares knowledge with colleagues
  • Regular, reliable and punctual attendance
  • Responsible for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data held by Ascensus to ensure against unauthorized access, improper transmission, and/or unapproved disclosure of information that could result in harm to Ascensus or our clients.

Section 3:  Experience, Skills, Knowledge Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of retirement services industry experience with direct accountability for client deliverables
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from intermediary partners, prospects and clients
  • Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts utilizing current spreadsheet and accounting database software programs.

For all virtual remote positions, in order to ensure associates can effectively perform their job duties with no distractions, we require an uninterrupted virtual workspace and there is also an expectation of family care being in place during business hours. Additionally, there is an internet work speed requirement of 25 Mbps or better for individual use. If more than one person is utilizing the same internet connection in the same household or building, then a stronger connection is required. If you are unsure of your internet speed, please check with your service provider. Note: For call center roles specifically, it is a requirement to either hardwire your equipment directly to the internet router or ensure your workstation is in close proximity to the router.
