JM&A Group is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst for the Financial Planning & Analysis Team. This position provides the opportunity to work alongside a strong team of finance professionals. As the Sr. Financial Analyst, you will directly support the finance needs for our Leadership, internal departments, and our Sales Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide primary support for the new deal acquisition and financial modeling process.
  • Play an integral role in transforming current state financial modeling from Excel to Power BI & Power Automate.
  • Be a subject matter expert on financial models and consult stakeholders on the model outputs.
  • Continuously improve financial models and reporting solutions by studying proposed changes in methods and materials.
  • Combine and analyze data from various databases and sources to support financial modeling.
  • Increase productivity by coordinating information requirements and automating processes.
  • Performing ad-hoc business and financial analysis utilizing various data sources and reports and working with various operational areas to help senior management with decision-making and strategy, which may require the analysis and summarization of large amounts of data.
  • Adds value to both the operational and strategic decision-making process.
  • Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures and provide financial insights.
  • Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of experience in Business & Data Analytics, Financial Planning & Analysis and/or Financial Reporting, or Strategy.
  • Possess high-level problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Strong project management skills, including organization, planning, and execution.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as presentation skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure, overcome challenges, and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate intellectual curiosity.
  • Experience in identifying, recommending, and implementing process enhancements.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel required. Proficiency in MS Word, and NetSuite preferred.
  • Experience with Power Automate, Power BI, Salesforce (SFDC)desired.
  • SQL, Essbase, SAS, Spark, Scala, and Python knowledge a plus.
