**Excellent opportunity for a General Anesthesiologist to join our collaborative team at IU Health Arnett Hospital located in** _**Lafayette, Indiana, home of Purdue University.**_

**Employment opportunity details:**

- Employed position offers work/life balance.
- **Call is typically 1:4. It is taken one week at a time and post call week is taken off**
- **No OB**
- **Occurrence Based Malpractice Insurance**
- Eight (8) weeks\' vacation
- MD covers rooms solo and/or medical direction of CRNA\'s at a ratio typically not to exceed 1:3.
- Cover cases at IU Health Arnett Hospital, Outpatient Surgery Center
- Excellent, modern equipment includes: glidescopes and Sonosite ultrasound machines for regional anesthesia.
- Peripheral nerve blocks a must.
- Serving greater Tippecanoe County, patient draw base of greater than 500K
- Wide spectrum of case types

**Qualifications:**

- BC/BE, ACLS, BLS
- MD/DO Indiana license or eligible
- Consistent and consecutive employment/training history
