Job Summary:

As a licensed therapist with Courage Kenny Psychological Associates - a part of Allina Health, you will find an environment that fosters your professional growth and well-being. Our mental health/licensed therapists (LICSWs) work in a multidisciplinary team that may include physiatrists, occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, physical therapists, and other rehabilitation providers to give the best possible care to our patients and the community.

Job Description:

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Primary job responsibilities include performing mental health diagnostic assessments and outpatient treatment, collecting, and evaluating information about client/patient situations, establishing and updating treatment goals, and completing discharges with program participants. Group therapy experiences are available.

  • The Licensed Therapist primarily serves adults who have some type of injury or physical disability; such as brain injury, spinal cord injury, chronic pain, and other long-term conditions.

  • As a licensed therapist / LICSW, you will also maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with other healthcare providers to provide comprehensive care.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in mental health or related field required.

  • Licensed Ind Clinical Social Worker - MN Board of Social Work required upon hire

  • 2 years of licensed practice preferred.

  • At least one year of psychotherapy experience, either paid or internship preferred

  • Experience with interdisciplinary care teams, serving people with chronic health conditions or disabilities

  • BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Multisource required within 60 days.
