Automated Packing Line

Job Summary To provide general repair and maintenance for AGV’s and Battery Chargers, Guide paths, Elvo System, Auto Flow, Robofix and the Automated Packing Line.

Evaluation of Job Duties SEQUENCE OF ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES ARE AS FOLLOWS: * Replace damaged guide paths in AGV traffic area.

* Service AGV Batteries and Station.

* Repair AGV problems associated with transfer device, job status, load status and mechanical or electrical defects.

* Troubleshooting electrical problems.

(where applicable) * Repairing and/or replacing faulty or worn equipment or mechanical parts.

(where applicable) * Removing/replacing motors for preventative maintenance or repair.

* Changing belts/gears.

* Maintaining fluid levels and lubrications on all Packing Line equipment.

(Where applicable) * Working with and/or applying chemicals.

* Using Compressed Air.

* Driving Forklift/Tow Motor (When applicable) * Working around Photo Eye Sensors.

* Using Hi-Vac Suction system.

(Where applicable) * Hair restraints, work apparel, jewelry, etc.

* Sweeping and patrolling work area.

* Automated Package Handling System.

(Where applicable) * Machine guarding.

* Using Ladders/Machine steps.

* Using Utility Knives.
