  • Reviews current Junior Sailing curriculum and makes enhancements as necessary.
  • Works with General Manager and Program Chair to determine program schedules and curriculum.
  • Determines instructor assignments daily.
  • Communicates expectations to instructors and helps them develop effective instruction techniques and build enthusiasm by providing regular feedback where required.
  • Communicates and interacts with both parents and sailors.
  • Oversees start-up and close-down operations.
  • Completes all required administration including Program Registrations.
  • Provides weekly and year-end report of programs and instructors.
  • Performs in-season day-to-day operations:
  • Supervises instructors;
  • Instructs as necessary;
  • Oversees upkeep and maintenance of boats and equipment
  • Plans and coordinates regatta schedule (including JSA registration).
  • Participates in Club activities (social events and meetings where required).
  • Attends local sailing association committee meetings as required.
  • Performs other appropriate tasks assigned by the General Manager.
