  • Set rooms and events according to the BEO specifications and Supervisor instructions.
  • Handle guest requests in a friendly manner; as necessary, request the assistance of the Set-up Supervisor or Banquet Manager.
  • Ensure all storage rooms are clean, organized and secure.
  • Ensure that all unused rooms are clean and clear.
  • Ensure proper maintenance (cleaning and repair) of all equipment.
  • Maintain a cooperative, team-like attitude in working with supervisors and fellow employees in all departments.
  • Preform all guest contact activities with a cordial, efficient and professional manner.
  • Requires basis English language communication skills, and the ability to carry large and heavy items on a continuous basis throughout a shift.
  • Requires candidates with a flexible schedule in order to work banquet events at a variety of hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
  • Any other tasks assigned by management
  JOB REQUIREMENTS  
  • Previous set-up experience is highly desired, but not required.
  • Prior hotel experience preferred.
  • Candidate must have the ability to carry large and heavy banquet equipment.
  • Continuous standing/walking throughout a shift.
  • Basis English language communication skills are required along with excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented atmosphere dedicated to providing exceptional hospitality and service to each guest.
  • Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision.
  • Each employee must treat others with respect and display superb customer service skills at all times.
