Description:

Perform fat, salt, acid, pH, viscosity testing.

Test, monitor, and document accurately quality results and processing data for products produced

Audit, verify and follow-up process controls such as weight checks, batch sheets inspections, receiving, etc.

Support process variations as they relate to formula adjustments to satisfy customer requirements

Maintain a high and effective level of communication with all operating departments

Operate, calibrate, and maintain lab equipment

Ensure that all GMP, Sanitation, and housekeeping practices are being followed according to expectations

Understand and apply the functionality of the Un-shippable Program

Utilize AS400 computer system for necessary quality functions

Maintain and complete files and documentation accurately and in a timely manner

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with Biology, Chemistry, or other Science related field

6+ months of lab testing experience (academic or work experience)

OR

1+ years of food testing experience

HS Diploma, GED, or HSED
