Grain Merchandiser Responsibilities:

• ·     Capitalize on opportunities by making recommendations to management and staff regarding changes in the grain market
• ·     Build relationships within the community and outside customers
• ·    Trade a variety of crops: wheat, flax, canola, durum, corn, pulse crops, etc.
• ·     Provide a summary and distribute information to other stakeholders in the company including accounting and facilities staff
• ·     Monitor future markets on a regular basis

   

  Grain Merchandiser Qualifications:

• ·     3-10 years of grain merchandising experience required
• ·     Proficient in various software systems
• ·     Strong communication and math skills
• ·     Experience with crops that are typical throughout the region
