The People & Culture Generalist will forge strong relationships with managers and employees, providing support to P&C Business Partners and employees. The person in this role assesses and anticipates people related needs and formulates partnerships across the People & Culture function to deliver value-added service to the overall organization. Responsibilities
HOW YOU ADD VALUE
- Support P&C Business Partners as they advise front line managers on employee relations, employee development, performance improvement plans, terminations, and documentation
- Oversee day-to-day operational support for assigned organizations, liaison with People & Culture operations team to process employee changes
- Act as trusted advisor and credible source of information for managers and employees
- Partner with P&C Business Partners to initiate recruitment, assist with job descriptions and initiate market data analysis
- Execute performance management activities including goal setting, performance reviews and compensation
- Conduct exit interviews, aggregate themes and provide actionable recommendations to enhance culture and engagement
- Maintain fundamental knowledge of employment laws related to day-to-day management of employees
- Project manage various people and culture initiatives independently and proactively provide updates to People & Culture business partners
- Special projects as assigned
Qualifications
WHAT YOU BRING TO THIS ROLE
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resources with experience independently handling employee relations, manager coaching, and performance management processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Capability to quickly build trusted relationships with stakeholders
- Ability to adjust to multiple demands and shifting priorities
- Superb verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Workday Experience is a plus
Preferred:
- Human Resources Certification
