Position Overview:

The Toolmaker will report to the Tooling Manager and Supervisor. The position involves a high degree of interface with all departments and plants. Tasks range from the creation of simple to complex tools, e.g. progressive, single stage tools, drill fixtures, etc. The position involves a high degree of professionalism when interacting within the Tiffany& Co. NPI, Manufacturing and LVMH groups.

Responsibilities:
Arrive at sound technical decisions collaboratively with Management, tool room staff and other internal customers. Understand, communicate, and support Quality standards required by Tiffany & Company in order to achieve on time delivery and ensure the highest possible quality results. Sample Fabrication: Fabricate samples to support new product development. Partner with the Toolroom Manager to ensure daily production capabilities and surface concerns to Management when maximum efficiencies are not being met. Contribute to meeting request dates per production plans. Participate in hands on Toolroom activities related to new product development and implementation into production. Assist and proposes continuous improvement opportunities to minimize labor and reduce costs. Work safely at all times by consistently following safe work procedures for your position, as well as well as all safety procedures required at your worksite. Promptly report all incidents and safety issues to your supervisor.
Required Qualifications:
Technically proficient to understand Tooling, Toolroom process and the ability to read and understand technical prints High school diploma or GED Demonstrated ability to read and write English at an intermediate level Basic Math Skills Ability to train, motivate and provide direction Basic computer skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Some college, or bachelor's degree; Bilingual in Spanish, a plus Basic CAD drawing skills Wire EDM experience
