How You’ll Help Transform Healthcare:
Come join the Cardiovascular Institute (CVI) at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center. We are conveniently located in the New River Valley, where you will enjoy hundreds of outdoor adventures, vibrant arts and cultural activities, University (RU and VT) sporting events, and a broad range of live music venues. Job duties and responsibilities to include:
-Carotid ultrasounds
-Venous ultrasounds
-Arterial ultrasounds
-Renal ultrasounds
-Take part in the training of students and staff as assigned.
-Create a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients and families.
What We Require:
Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Graduate of approved School of Ultrasound or equivalent training.
Experience: Vascular ultrasound experience preferred but not required.
Licensure, certification, and/or registration: RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) in Vascular Sonography. ARDMS or CCI. CPR certification required.
Other: Good interpersonal, technical skills and flexibility in assignments.
