Seasonal Farm Equipment Operator

Welcome to Diamond H Farms We are a family-owned and operated crop farm in Northeast Montana. We have 4,000 acres of dry land where we produce small grains including wheat, chickpeas, and lentils most of the land is no till. We’re hiring a Seasonal Farm Equipment Operator to join our team in Vida, MT for our seeding season. In this role you will be operating and performing preventative maintenance on farm and agricultural equipment and the right candidate could be promoted to full-time post-planting season if desired.

We offer a competitive hourly wage of $18-$25 depending on experience and potential full-time position for the right person.

What you will be doing:

• Operating farm equipment such as tractors, combines, grain carts, etc.
• Performing preventative and other light maintenance on farm and agriculture equipment.
• Driving semis, hauling grain.
• Assisting on all areas of the farm as needed.

This job is for you if you have:

• Prior agriculture, farm, or heavy equipment operating experience.
• Self-motivation with the ability to identify and accomplish work independently and can multi-task in a changing environment.
• Willingness to work additional and flexible hours during the harvest season.
• Prior truck driving experience is preferred.
• Ability to work well in both an individual and team setting.
