Position Overview:

Responsible for performing routine tests as required on asphalt materials, in process components, and final product.  Participates in the validation of test, asphalt inspection, processing methods, and materials qualification. 

  

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Learns and participates in the development and validation of processes, asphalt materials and products under the guidance of manager

Performs tests and asphalt sampling procedures before, during, and after the manufacturing process

Documenting data from test procedures and reporting abnormalities

Updating and preparing documentation of operating procedures

Providing expertise in quality control and operating procedures to co-workers

 

Education and/or Experience:

Experience preferred, but not required.

High School diploma

 

Job Requirements and Skills:

Computer skills

Strong writing and verbal skills

Strong attention to detail

Good analytical and problem solving skills

 

Physical Demands:

This position requires walking, standing, bending, twisting, sitting and lifting

 

Salary

$18.50 - $20/hr
