Responsibilities

We are seeking a BC/BE neonatologist to join our team of BC neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners to provide in-house coverage for Saint Luke’s Health System in Kansas City, Missouri.

Saint Lukes Health System offers comprehensive neonatal care with advanced ventilator support and encompasses three NICUs The main unit at St Luke's Hospital is a regional perinatal referral center with a 49 bed, Level-IIIB NICU offering iNO, HFOV and HFJV, therapeutic hypothermia and a highly successful ELGAN program caring for infants as young as 22 weeks gestation. Over 450 annual admissions and an ADC of 35 The main unit has in-house coverage and NNP’s in-house 24/7 Other units include a 15-bed Level-IIIA NICU, and one growing Level-II NICU in addition to well-baby care offering out of house coverage with NNP’s in-house 24/7 Robust telehealth supports the out of house coverage sites as well as regional delivery services Active involvement in the practice’s QI initiatives is expected and supported, and all are encouraged to pursue individual areas of interest.
