Job Summary

Leviat, a CRH company and a global source for lifting, connecting and anchoring technologies for the construction and industrial sectors is seeking an Accounts Receivables Specialist who will join our finance team.  Candidates will take ownership of cash application and commercial collections.  The right candidate will be determined to achieve effective and seamless support of business operations, including timely and accurate customer collections, cash posting, responding to internal and external inquiries, and collaborating with internal teams to meet company goals.

Job Responsibilities

• Process high-volume customer payments for multiple payment methods and sources including checks, credit card and ACH/wire 
• Reconcile cash postings daily utilizing query supported reconciliation tools 
• Initiate phone calls to customers pertaining to payment issues, account reviews, and tax status
• Research, reconcile and resolve customer account discrepancies such as short payments, aged credits/invoices, or unapplied payments 
• Maintain accurate AR aging reports 
• Prepare customer lien waivers 
• Ensure customer compliance with sales tax regulations 
• Maintain master customer files
• File, organize and maintain all updates and documents in Excel, Smartsheet and Box
• Ensure compliance with all company accounting policies and procedures
• File, organize and maintain all updates and documents in MS Outlook, Smartsheet and Box
• Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

Job Requirements

• High school diploma, Associate’s degree preferred, or equivalent and minimum three years office experience.  Equivalent combination of education and experience is sufficient
• ERP experience, Microsoft Dynamics and/or SAP a plus
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Manufacturing knowledge is preferred
• Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of basic accounting and math
• Detail oriented, organized, and self-motivated
• Internal and external customer service oriented
