Arthritis Care Specialists of Maryland has been located in Howard County Maryland since 1991 and has established a reputation as the premier rheumatology practice in the region. This full-service practice provides high-quality patient care including office visits, infusion services, ultrasonography, a high complexity lab, and clinical research. Our physicians have been board certified in their specialties with a broad range of training, experience, and skill. Several have received Baltimore or Washington Top Doctor awards for many consecutive years. We have 2 combined adult and pediatric rheumatologists and 4 adult rheumatologists, as well as 2 physician assistants. Our physicians rotate call equally, every 6th week (very few calls). The new hire will be taking over a retiring physician's patients, providing a great jump start to our offered productivity bonuses. Our referral network is well established, providing a steady stream of new patients. The practice structure allows you to earn well over 95th %ile of rheumatology income, particularly in pediatric rheumatology, as well as the opportunity to buy in to full and equal partnership (which is not something that many other groups are offering). We encourage you to pursue your unique areas of interest such as ultrasonography or clinical research. Having admitting privileges at a hospital will be encouraged for building your reputation, promoting a regular stream of referrals, and for following your own patients if admission is necessary.
