The Breakfast Attendant at the Homewood Suites by Hilton Milford is responsible for preparing and providing the highest quality of service possible to guests in an efficient and courteous manner during the complimentary breakfast of a hotel.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

 

  1. Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service oriented manner.
  2. Ensuring that bar, food, and service areas are stocked, organized, clean and neat and all side work is complete during each shift.
  3. Prepare breakfast items and restock as needed during service hours.
  4. Communicate with all departments regarding in-house VIPs and any special requests/needs.
  5. Support all areas of the beverage and food service as necessary.
  6. Share knowledge of the hotel, its amenities and menu options.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 

  1. Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  2. Must be able to work a varied schedule that may include early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
  3. Must have basic English verbal communication skills.
  4. Must have the ability to obtain food handlers certification as required.
  5. Physical ability to perform job function with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
  6. Be proficient in general computer knowledge.
  7. Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
  8. Must have a desire to serve all guests.
  9. Must be 18 years of age or older to perform this job.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

  1. Experience in a hotel or a related field.
  2. Previous food and beverage experience.
