LENGTH OF EMPLOYMENT:Â Bengals 2024 football season starting early July.
The Cincinnati Bengals seek a talented and creative Production Assistant to join our Jungle Vision team and create video content for the gameday video board show to entertain Who Dey Nation. Someone with a demonstrated ability to conceive and apply creative solutions to technical workflows. The ideal candidate would live and breathe control room environments and have a collaborative-minded attitude with large-scale projects⦠The goal being to create a world-renowned gameday experience at Paycor Stadium.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working closely with the Jungle Vision Producer, the Jungle Vision Production Assistant would operate in the control room for all Bengals home games
- Program Daktronics Show Control's show elements
- Use Adobe Creative Suite to edit videos to be displayed on the Jungle Vision video boards
- Coordinate with partnerships to execute sponsor activations related to gameday
- Assist in feature edits for our magazine-style show, Bengals Weekly; e.g. Micâd ups, Game Preview, Behind the Stripes, Lap's Look, etcâ¦
- Shoot Bengals-related events; community, partnerships, internal
- Opportunity to travel for a limited amount of Bengals road games
- Use media asset management software (Iconik) to ingest and log gameday and training camp footage, such as Wires, NFL Films, Radio Calls, club media highlights, and Network Melts.
- Set up the Bengals studio with proper lighting and equipment for video shoots, such as Jungle Vision hype videos and interviewsÂ
- Other duties as assigned
- Light office duties and activities.
- Will periodically be required to lift and carry production equipment totaling 50-75 lbs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-2 years of professional video production and control room experience including but not limited to camera operation, editing, lighting, technical directing, replay, etc...
- Must be proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, etc).Â
- Prior experience operating a position for a video board show; replay, Show Control, CG, etc...
- Proven ability to work in high-speed environments
- Demonstrate strong creative skills that can be applied to live production.
- Technical skills â Experience with control room equipment, Iconik or similar MAM, and studio equipment/lighting
- Must be a team player, willing and able to learn new concepts and processes, and willing to travel for shoots when necessary
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required, as well as all Bengals games, home and away
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-2 years directing Power Five or NFL football games
- Proven story-telling editing
