Minimum Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program and a current Nursing License in the state of practice, along with active BLS certification. Specialty area credentials (eg, ACLS, TNCC) are required and must be maintained.

  • Preferably hold a BSN degree.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of recent clinical experience in the relevant area of specialization.

  • Possess knowledge of nursing theory, practice, and age-specific needs, as demonstrated by successful completion of introductory orientation behaviors for Registered Nurse.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain collegial relationships with colleagues and therapeutic relationships with patients and families.

  • Excellent critical thinking skills to fulfill the primary duties and responsibilities of the role.

  • Ability to focus, pay attention to detail, and plan and execute professional nursing care effectively.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.

  • Exhibit personal qualities of honesty, integrity, and compassion, inspiring and motivating others to uphold Trinity Health's philosophy, mission, vision, goals, and values.

Physical and Mental Requirements
  • Ability to continuously walk and stand for at least 90% of the time.

  • Capability to move, lift, and position patients.
