Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Dilworth in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their 5-month-old son. The nanny would typically be needed Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. It would be a bonus if the nanny could occasionally travel with the family.

The best nanny for this family would be engaging, energetic, kind, reliable, and experienced in caring for infants. Finding a nanny who will assist in establishing a daily schedule and be attentive to their child's needs is important to the family. The nanny's role includes fostering a learning environment conducive to growth and actively encouraging the child to reach important developmental milestones. During the day, the nanny should read to the child, engage them in developmental activities such as tummy time and playing with toys, take the child on strolls, and play outside when the weather allows. The family values a nanny who will be creative in planning age-appropriate activities that evolve with the child's growth, including experiences in the community like visits to the park, storytime, the library, and more. The Dad works from home, and the nanny must be comfortable with that.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

  • Meeting daily scheduling needs of the child (Feeding, Changing, Napping)

  • Engaging with the child on an age-appropriate level

  • Playing with the child both inside and outside the home

  • Doing hands-on learning activities with the child

    Household Duties Include (Children are first priority):

    • Child’s laundry and changing child’s sheets weekly

    • Child’s meal prep

    • Unloading/loading the dishwasher and sanitizing bottles and pump parts

    • Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the child

    • Picking up after the nanny and child throughout the day

    • Emptying diaper trash

      Pets: The family has 2 Goldendoodles, and the nanny would be asked to let them into the fenced-in backyard throughout the day.

      Qualifications:

      • Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

      • Have a college degree or equivalent experience

      • Have a professional resume

      • Fill out a complete online application

      • Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency

      • Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

      • Have a valid driver’s license

      • Have safe and reliable transportation

      • Have a minimum of three professional references

      • Be non-smoking/vaping

      • CPR and First Aid Certified

      • Nanny should be fluent in English; any additional languages are a plus

        • Must be up to date on all childhood vaccinations, including TDAP, before starting the position. The annual Flu Vaccine is preferred.

          Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

          • This position starts July 1st, 2024

          • Legal pay is offered at $24.00 - $27.00 an hour, negotiable depending on experience

          • Continued pay while the family is away

          • Two weeks of paid time off

          • 3 Paid Sick Days

          • Paid Major Holidays

            • Paid Mileage for driving on the Job

            • Annual performance-based bonus
