The hospital is home to a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), private labor-delivery-recovery suites, obstetrical critical care for high-risk pregnancies, maternal-fetal medicine and ongoing educational programs for new families.

Mechanicsville is located in Hanover County and home to more than 36,000 residents. Mechanicsville is 6 miles NE of Richmond. The region is steeped in American history, with historical buildings, battlefield sites and preserved artifacts.

Ob Hospitalist Group began in 2006 and leads the industry in developing and managing in-house OB/GYN hospitalist programs. OBHG was founded to make care safer for moms and babies, and help OB/GYNs achieve balance in their own lives.
