Description SAIC is currently seeking a talented and experienced Senior Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)  to provide support to the DEVCOM Software, Simulation, Systems Engineering, and Integration Directorate (S3I) based at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama.
As the Senior MBSE, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and maintenance of MBSE models for military systems.

Your responsibilities will encompass the entire software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, integration, testing, documentation, and ongoing support, all following an agile/scrum development process.
Lead or actively participate in requirements and design reviews, technical interchange meetings, and other management discussions as needed.
Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to support the analyses, design, development, and verification of lifecycle-balanced system of systems and system solutions, both for our MBSE tools and their application to SAIC's products.
Qualifications Education Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related degree and nine (9) years experience; Six (6) years' experience can be accepted in lieu of degree (per contract vehicle).

Clearance Requirements:

Must possess an active Secret Security Clearance.

Required Skills:

Demonstrated ability to work independently throughout the software development life cycle.
Expertise in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design methods, along with familiarity with the Systems Modeling Language (SysML), the Unified Modeling Language (UML), and the Unified Architecture Framework (UAF).
Knowledge of formal engineering processes and experience working in an agile/scrum environment.
Solid understanding and experience in systems and/or software engineering, including systems architecture, requirement development, integration, verification, and validation.
Proven track record of taking ownership of projects and processes, and achieving schedule and technical goals as assigned.
Previous experience implementing model-based approaches on engineering projects/programs, ensuring seamless integration of delivered models within the receiving architecture and digital engineering platform.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively influence diverse audiences on digital concepts and technologies, from business leaders to technologists.
Familiarity with formalized semantics and semantic modeling languages and frameworks such as RDF, OWL, SPARQL, and TTL.

Desired Skills:

Experience in Cybersecurity is an advantageous addition.
Familiarity with Systems Safety is beneficial.
