Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Skytouch Hospitality. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel's employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.

JOB SUMMARY

As a Hotel Director of Sales, your primary responsibility is to lead the sales team at a hotel and ensure revenue targets are met. Here are the key aspects of your role:

  • Sales Strategy Development: You'll create and implement sales strategies targeting specific markets such as corporate, leisure, or group. Your goal is to increase occupancy and generate revenue.
  • Market Analysis: Analyzing market trends helps you understand customer needs. By identifying new business opportunities, you can tailor your approach effectively.
  • Relationship Building: You'll build and maintain relationships with potential clients, including corporate clients, event planners, and travel agencies.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with other departments (such as marketing and operations) ensures a cohesive approach to sales and service.
  • Sales Reporting: Creating and maintaining sales reports helps track performance and progress toward goals.
  • Industry Awareness: Attending conferences and events keeps you informed about the latest trends and strategies.
  • Pricing Strategy and Contract Negotiation: Managing the hotel's pricing strategy and negotiating contracts with clients are crucial for profitability.
  • Exceptional Customer Service: Providing outstanding service to clients and addressing their needs promptly is essential.
  • Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the hotel, increase occupancy, and boost revenue.
  • Advertising Campaigns: Create and execute advertising campaigns to raise awareness and drive business.
  • Online Presence: Maintain and update the hotel's website and social media profiles to effectively represent the brand.
  • Partnerships: Build partnerships with other businesses and organizations to promote the hotel.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitors to stay ahead of industry changes and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
  • Promotions and Offers: Create and execute promotions and special offers to attract guests.
  • Performance Measurement: Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and strategies.


Job Requirements
  • Several years of experience in sales or marketing, preferably within the hospitality industry, demonstrate your ability to build relationships, negotiate contracts, and manage sales teams.
  • Excellent communication, confidence, persistence, and leadership skills are essential.
