Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance patients' ability to perform daily activities.
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and tools to improve patients' functional abilities.
  • Educate patients and their families on strategies to manage daily activities and promote independence.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid and active Occupational Therapist license in the state of MD.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices.
  • Excellent assessment, diagnostic, and clinical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
