Sr Staff Hardware Systems Development Engineer Secaucus NJ

As a Staff Hardware Development Systems Engineer, you will assume a critical role in the design and development of groundbreaking server platforms, overseeing the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch. Your primary responsibility will be to lead a team in designing, defining, and implementing complex system requirements, while ensuring optimal hardware/software compatibility. By coordinating subsystem design and system integration, you will contribute to the creation of highly efficient and reliable server platforms.
What You'll Do:
Determine precise system specifications, I/O processes, and working parameters to ensure seamless hardware/software compatibilityCoordinate the design of subsystems and oversee the integration of the entire system, ensuring a cohesive and efficient final productDevelop comprehensive configurations for server and system products, considering factors such as performance, scalability, and cost-effectivenessCollaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product development process, from conceptualization to prototyping and productionOptimize system performance and proactively resolve any performance issues that arise, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutionsPrioritize manufacturability, reliability, and serviceability of designs, ensuring that the server platforms meet rigorous industry standardsWhat You Bring:
A bachelorâs degree in electrical engineering or computer ScienceA minimum of 8 years of experience in server design, demonstrating a strong track record of successful project executionDeep understanding of x86 system architecture, enabling you to make informed design decisionsRobust technical knowledge and expertise in executing complex platform development projectsComprehensive understanding of system-level server platforms and the interplay between their componentsProficiency in board-level development, with the ability to design and optimize hardware systemsStrong comprehension of hardware and system software interactions, coupled with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issuesProactive orientation towards seizing opportunities and identifying potential problemsExceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify key elements of a situation and develop innovative solutionsCollaborative, flexible, and adaptable mindset, fostering a cooperative work environment#LI-AS1 #LI-Onsite
