Gastroenterology Full-Time position in Miami, Florida

The University of Miami Health System, Miller School of Medicine is initiating a search for an Assistant Professor of Clinical - Gastroenterology.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
* Provide direct outpatient care to GI patients primarily at the Uhealth Doral Location \[9 half days\] Opening Fall of 2024
* Provide outpatient clinical and endoscopic services who require Gastroenteorlogy/Hepatology services, or screening procedures
* Maintain outpatient and endoscopic procedures at Uhealth Doral
DESIRED QUALIFIATIONS:
* MD/DO Degree
* ACGME US Internal Medicine residency
* BE/BC in Internal Medicine
* BE/BC in Gastroenterology
* Valid unrestricted Florida Medical License or eligible to apply (must have license prior to credentialing)
* Must be able to provide prerequisite case logs for procedures for prior two years for credentialing
* Knowledge of and ability to apply professional medical principles, procedures and techniques
* Must maintain CME to meet institutional and state licensing requirements
* Must have excellent clinical knowledge and experience to provide safe and quality care to patients and meet institutional standards of care
* Current BLS certification required. ACLS
* Valid DEA licensure
