Queens, NY Manhattan, NYCohen Childrenâs Medical Center opened in 1983 as the New York metropolitan areaâs only hospital designed exclusively for children. Today, it is the largest pediatric teaching hospital in the region, treating over 230,000 children per year and serving 1.8 million children in Brooklyn, Queens, Nassau, and Suffolk counties.
