For 60 years, TPC Wisconsin, formerly Cherokee Country Club, has served as Madisonâs only private facility to offer an 18-hole golf course, all-season golf range, indoor and outdoor tennis, pickleball, athletic training facility and outdoor pool. Our Champions Grille, Players and event spaces host casual and fine dining opportunities of intimate proportions, 30 or less, and large celebrations of 200 plus guests. TPC Wisconsin also provides PGA recognized and award-winning golf instruction and fitting programs, structured member events, and social events for the whole family all year long.

We are seeking a full-time Tennis Professional to join our Racquet Sports team. This position demands a passionate and results-oriented individual who can thrive in a private club environment. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the other teaching professionals, club staff and the Director of Racquet Sports in developing and coaching programs. The ideal candidate has an in-depth knowledge of tennis strokes and how to teach. This role requires not just expertise in racquet sports but also the ability to motivate and inspire clients. Excuses have no place in our culture; we need a proactive professional capable of growing our racquet sports program, engaging with our members, and delivering tangible results. Compensation is commensurate with experience.

ResponsibilitiesThe Full-Time Professional will be responsible for lesson planning and organization. Key responsibilities include conducting group and private lessons, working with juniors and adults. Events/tournaments as well from time to time.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a tennis teaching professional. The applicant fully understands strokes, mechanics and footwork and how to convey to their students.
  • Experience as a tennis Player, NTRP 4.5 or higher level of play, 5.0 preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Passion for helping students in their tennis game.
  • Relevant certifications in Tennis: USPTA and/or PTR are preferred. Pickleball certification is helpful.

Pay: $35.00 - $55.00+ per hour, Compensation is commensurate with experience.
