What You Will Do

Franklin Sports, Inc. is looking to hire a Product Coordinator to support our iconic and flagship baseball category.
 
 
The Product Coordinator is a pivotal support position for one of the busiest departments in the company.  The employee will be working on a team primarily supporting and reporting to the Senior Director. The responsibilities include but are not limited to market research on product assortments/industry trends, supporting new product ideation and development follow-up, managing and assisting with data management inputs, creation of marketing presentations and deliverables, reviewing and organizing incoming and outgoing samples, and more. 

The candidate must be an administrative individual who is highly organized and structured, understands the importance of data integrity, and has analytical and excellent writing skills. They will work closely with a variety of different teams within the organization and will require strong collaboration, communication, and project management skills.

The position is located at our Headquarters in Stoughton, MA with a hybrid office option and will report to the Director, Product Management, Softball and Baseball. 

 
In More Detail, You Will

 

-           Assist and support the Product Manager in a variety of administrative functions 

-           Maintain a database of product-related information that is consistently refreshed to ensure accuracy in systems that are referenced both internally and by external vendors

-           Support the Product Manager in all aspects of product line development, including system management, vendor communications and documentation

-           Enter data into the internal systems to run sales and marketing reports and to ensure accuracy and data integrity of our internal process systems (Art Tracker, Smart Track, IMAST, Salsify) 

-           Review product samples to identify and address any defects

-           Assist in new product developments and enhancements

-           Assist in organizing trade shows and other special events

-           Ensure sample inventory in the warehouse is organized and stored properly

-           Assist with the creative written descriptions of new products for E-Commerce to support annual launch

-           Assist in the communication between the key departments i.e. graphic design, sales, forecasting and planning to assure all programs are supported accurately and in a timely fashion

-           Other tasks as assigned


Who You Are
 
 
The ideal candidate should have 1+ years of experience in administrative support, preferably in a similar role in the consumer product goods industry. This individual needs to be able to understand product development marketing, be analytical, and have excellent follow-up and communication skills. 

This candidate will also have had some experience playing and/or coaching baseball and/or softball in a competitive setting.  
 
What You Have Done
 

  • Completed your bachelor’s degree
  • Have 1+ years of experience in administrative support, preferably in a similar role in the consumer product goods industry 
  • Superb attention to detail
  • Are highly organized, motivated, and task-oriented
  • Have advanced computer user skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Product Databases, Salsify
  • Can manage multiple priorities and juggle between daily, weekly, and monthly demands
  • Have an entrepreneurial mentality and eagerness to grow within the company in the product management area
  • Are a strategic and analytical thinker
  • Possess the ability to work well under pressure and work cross-functionally with all levels in the organization
  • Have good written and verbal communication skills
  • Have the ability and willingness to work occasionally in the sample warehouse environment
