Kapco Inc. is looking for a Logistics Supervisor on 1st shift at our Osceola, WI facility. The ideal candidate for this position would be able to do the following:

Directs distribution and receiving within Kapco manufacturing facilities.

Manages product flow for work-in-process and finished goods inventory.
-
Coordinates delivery of product and tooling to manufacturing processes.
-
Supervises data entry and other support personnel.
-
Establishes priorities and delegates duties.
-
Ensures distribution packaging is effective for transport of materials.
-
Keeps up to date with required standards, regulations and technologies of position.
-
Troubleshoots when issues arise.
-
Successfully completes Kapco's forklift certification program.
-
Coordinates employee actions for subordinates to include evaluations, discipline, training, testing, and career development.

Participates in improvement projects, as assigned. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
-
Requires five to seven years experience in shipping and receiving.
-
Two or more years of experience in a metal stamping environment desired.
-
APICS certification a plus.
-
Requires understanding of Material Requirement Planning (MRP), bills of material, inventory control and standard shipping / receiving procedures.

Analytical, written and oral communication skills required.
