Summary

This position is located at the Fort Peck IHS Service Unit in Poplar/Wolf Point, MT. The incumbent will serve as the Optometrist for the Fort Peck Service Unit. Within this role, the incumbent provides a comprehensive eye care program for the facility. The incumbent supervises one optometry technician. The incumbent will be located at either the Verne E Gibbs Health Center or the Wolf Point Chief Redstone Clinic.



Duties

  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of eye disease
  • Coordinating medical eye care with other physicians as appropriate.
  • Supervises and evaluates support personnel in the optometry department.
  • Manages fiscal responsibility of eye care budget.
