As a Senior Financial Economist (Team Manager), you will:

Apply expert judgement in U.S. economic and banking industry conditions, trends and forecasts to conduct and manage activities involving the application of economic analysis to a wide range of economic, banking industry and regulatory policy issues that affect performance and competition in the U.S. banking industry, national and regional economy, industries, and households.
Apply advanced economic, statistical, financial analysis, and empirical methodologies, tools, and techniques, including appropriate statistical software and other software tools. Prepare and present and manage staff efforts to complete briefings, memoranda, and other publications for OCC and external executives and decision-makers.
Conduct in-depth economic analysis to respond to requests from the Comptroller and senior OCC officials for analysis of supervisory policy issues affecting the banking system and financial markets and broad OCC operations.
Under delegation from the Director, oversee the design and conduct of economic and banking condition analyses that identify and analyze current and expected key trends that are relevant to the development and implementation of agency policy and enhance bank supervision by the OCC.
Provide expert advice and keep senior OCC management informed on a wide variety of matters including those responding to statutory and regulatory requirements.
Assist the Director in establishing objectives and goals for the Division including short-term and long-term plans; as well as establishing priorities for the Division. Provide planning and resource management expertise to the Division's activities that support OCC objectives and goals.
