Are you passionate about making a difference in the field of mental health? St. Mary's Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated PMHNP to join our Behavioral Health care team. This exciting opportunity involves providing compassionate psychiatric services to our inpatient population, with primary responsibilities below.

Responsibilities:

- PMHNP for inpatient Psychiatry coverage, including:
- Daily direct patient care on Adult Inpatient unit
- Coverage of other services when census is low
- Weekend rounding 1 in 7 weekends
- Taking first call 1 in 8 nights/weekends
- Potential for support of PHP/IOP as those services grow

Requirements:

- Graduation from a state-certified advanced practice program specializing in psychiatry/mental health.
- PMHNP certification.
- Unrestricted license to practice as a PMHNP in Maine.
- Unrestricted DEA registration.
- State-issued Controlled Substance Registration (CSR).
- Registration with the state Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP).
- No suspension/exclusion/debarment from participation in federal health care programs(e.g., Medicare, Medicaid, SCHIP).
- Preferred: 2 years of direct patient care experience in psychiatric disorders.
