Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance is required for the position.


Description:

CTI is seeking an experienced TS/SCI polygraph cleared Software Engineer to join our team of high preforming experienced professionals. An ideal candidate will be able to perform in a niche position specializing in Reverse Engineering, Software Development, or Analytic Development.

 

The day-to-day:

· You will support custom software design/development of CNO tools and techniques

· You’ll author documentation, participate in design, code, and software readiness reviews ass prescribed by organizational software development procedures and processes.

· You will utilize advanced analytical algorithms, programming (in at least one high level language (e.g. Python), statistical analysis, variability, sampling error, inference, hypothesis testing, EDA, application of linear models), data management (e.g. data cleaning and transformation), data mining, data modeling and assessment, artificial intelligence, and/or software engineering.

· You’ll design/develop computer or information systems, including engineering hardware and/or software.

· You may have additional skills in data sets, tradecraft, data science support.

 

The qualifications (required):

· Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active FS polygraph

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Machine Learning, Data Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or related studies may be considered.

· Several years experience programming with at least two of the following languages: C/C++, Java, Python, Assembly, Perl.

·  Ability to develop/implement algorithms to exceed functional standards; analyze systems flow, data usage/work processes.

· Experience implementing software life cycle management (requirements, design, develop, test, validate, deploy).

 

Level determined by years + experience

· A BS degree with 3 years’ experience minimum required for level 1

· MS/PhD degree may constitute for additional year experience equivalency

· High school/GED or associate’s degree and additional experience clearly related to the position may be considered. 

 

The nice-to-haves (desired, not required):

· SIGINT, Cyber, and/or Computer Network Operations (CNO) background.

· Additional Experience in: Javascript, Vue.js, Hadoop, GM analytic development, .NET environment, debuggers, development of packet level programs, Jupyter Notebooks, Jira, Confluence, Gitlab.
