Summary

This position is located within the Service Delivery Area for the Mashpee Wampanoag Health Service
Unit. The purpose of the position is to serve as Supervisory Dental Officer over the Mashpee
Wampanoag Health Service Program, supervise dental staff and to provide advanced dentistry services
in accordance with the Indian Health Service policies.



Duties

  • Perform as a supervisor over other dentists and other dental department employees.
  • Exercise supervisory and managerial responsibility for planning, development organization, integration and evaluation of clinical services for dental department.
  • Provide direct care services of a scope, quality and quantity consistent with Agency and facility policies.
  • Conduct an oral health program that is integrated with other health services available.
  • Administers local anesthesia & Performs routine and complex tooth extractions.
