Position Overview: As an Ultrasonographer at Glendive Medical Center, you'll play a vital role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients. This position works on an as-needed basis with rotating calls, offering flexibility and variety in your work schedule. We're seeking an individual who is self-motivated, confident, and adaptable.

Responsibilities:

Determines test procedures according to the purpose of the examination. Explains procedures to patients and assists patients in the proper positioning for the test. Selects transducer and makes equipment adjustments according to the nature of test, depth of field, and other test specifications. Enters test data and patient information into the computer to become part of the test record. Conducts actual test procedures. Moves transducer by hand over specified area of body and observes sound wave display screen to monitor the quality of the ultrasound image produced. Records diagnostic data electronically. Produces a permanent record of test results. Checks equipment on a regular basis to ensure proper operation.

Requirements:To qualify for this position, candidates must have:

RDMS (abdomen, OB-GYN, or RVT) registered sonographer requiredARRT registered and Montana Radiologic Technologist license preferred but not required. Current BLS certification required
