Position Summary: As a Bilingual Dental Hygienist at Restore Dental, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch dental care and education to our Spanish-speaking patients. You will be responsible for performing a variety of hygiene-related duties that contribute to the overall health and well-being of our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Preventive Care: Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing to maintain and improve oral health.
X-Rays: Competently take and interpret dental x-rays.
Arestin Placement: Administer Arestin as part of periodontal treatment plans.
Salivary Testing: Conduct salivary testing to assist in diagnosing and managing oral health conditions.
Perio Protect: Utilize Perio Protect methods to treat periodontal disease.
Intraoral Photography: Take high-quality intraoral pictures to document patient conditions and treatment progress.
Probing: Conduct periodontal probing and charting.
Patient Education: Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, periodontal health, and preventive care in both Spanish and English.
Patient Relations: Build strong relationships with patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed about their dental health.
Qualifications:
Licensure: Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of California.
Language Skills: Fluent in both Spanish and English to effectively communicate with our diverse patient base.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in taking x-rays, placing Arestin, performing salivary testing, using Perio Protect, taking intraoral pictures, and probing.
Experience: Previous experience as a dental hygienist preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
