This role supports our Commercial and Medical Affairs organizations as a strategic partner who translates functional and cross-functional goals and priorities into a learning agenda that drives peak performance. The role is accountable for the multi-year learning strategy, roadmap, and execution. The Functional Learning Partner will leverage best-in-class and innovative approaches that enable differentiated capabilities and job performance in the function.

Heres What Youll Do:

Learning and Upskilling Strategy: Work with business leaders and HR business partners in the functions you support to develop an actionable learning and upskilling strategy focused on priority skills and performance outcomes. Serve as strategic advisor on capability and learning to senior executives in the functions you support.

Road Map, Prioritization, and Budget: Define and prioritize the learning roadmap for the functions, working with stakeholders to secure funding for specific initiatives.

Portfolio Management: Manage the end-to-end learning portfolio in the specific functional / business areas, including external partner and vendor management.

Measurement and Evaluation: Establish metrics and evaluation processes to assess the effectiveness of learning, making data-driven decisions to enhance program impact.

Learning Execution: Work with internal and external partners to design and manage the development and delivery of functional learning content, programs, and experiences. Delegate certain learning design and delivery tasks to our small internal execution team while retaining accountability for results.

Alignment: Ensure alignment of functional learning initiatives with enterprise-wide learning strategy, platforms, and systems. Partner with Learning teammates to lift and shift programs from one function to another and build cross-functional programs.

Change Management: Partner with function HRBPs to drive change management around new skills to ensure business application and ROI.

Heres What Youll Need (Minimum Qualifications):

Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience

Domain knowledge and experience working in or partnering with Medical Affairs and Commercial functions in biopharma.

Strong skills in project management, stakeholder management, and strategic business partnering in a matrix environment.

Practical knowledge of learning operations, including portfolio execution, vendor management, learning technologies, and learning evaluation

Instructional design, content development, and content curation experience

Multi-media and design skills

Innovation in learning modalities and learner experience, including micro-learning, virtual learning, instructor-led training, learning measurement and others.

Experience with learning platforms such as LMS and LxP.

Facilitation skills
