BC/BE IM/FM Physician for AZ Corrections

VHS is seeking a BC/BE IM/FM Physician to join the team at the Arizona Department of Corrections in Phoenix, AZ.
Come learn correctional healthcare as you use our cutting-edge resources, including our client’s award-winning electronic operating system.
Description:
- Provide direct and indirect medical care to meet the healthcare needs of the patients within the facility
- Formulate a working diagnosis, develop, and implement a treatment plan, and evaluate/modify therapeutic regimens
- Evaluate patients who have returned from off-site treatment
- Respond to and initiate care for medical emergencies throughout the facility
- Coordinate, lead and participate in educational and training activities related to medical care for patients
Requirements:
- Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine is required
- BLS, ACLS
- Currently accepting any state license but must be willing to obtain AZ license
- AZ state background check, fingerprint clearance
- Drug Screen
Compensation Package:
Independent Contractor status $160 per hour
