This position works out of our Casa Grande, Arizona location in the Abbott Nutrition division. What Youâll Work On

The Stick Pack Filler Operator is responsible for the operation and daily maintenance of packaging equipment, line support, in-process testing, documentation, completing work orders, material inventory tracking and area sanitation.

  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system.
  • Labelers/Over-cappers - Ensure proper operation of labelers and over-cappers; ensure correct labels and over-caps for product being filled are used; ensure daily maintenance of labeler and over-capper; changeover of equipment and track work for various can sizes; routine PMâs for equipment; pull samples as required.
  • Hand and Auto Packers/Palletizer Tray/Shrink-wrapper.   Auto or hand case-packing/tray-wrapping and pallet stacking of all products; ensure proper operation of equipment; changeover of equipment for various can sizes; routine PMâs on equipment; perform outgoing inspection per work order requirement; stretch wrap finished pallets and supply lid feed system.
  • In-Process Testing/Documentation
  • Line Support; Forklift Operation - Ensure adequate line supplies of products and materials; staging and removal of pallets

Youâll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.

  • High School Diploma/GED

Shift:

Please note: This is a 12-hour DAY shift position from 6:00am to 6:00pm and allows you to have every other weekend off.

  • Week 1: Mon - OFF, Tues - OFF, Wed - 12 hours, Thurs - 12 hours, Fri - OFF, Sat - OFF, Sun - OFF
  • Week 2: Mon - 12 hours, Tues - 12 hours, Wed - OFF, Thurs - OFF, Fri - 12 hours, Sat - 12 hours, Sun - 12 hours
  • Week 3: Mon - OFF, Tues - OFF, Wed - 12 hours, Thurs - 12 hours, Fri - OFF, Sat - OFF, Sun â OFF
  • Week 4: Mon - 12 hours, Tues - 12 hours, Wed - OFF, Thurs - OFF, Fri - 12 hours, Sat - 12 hours, Sun - 12 hours
