  • We are seeking a Principal Scientist to join our Preclinical Histology Core (PHC) to support a range of experiments including immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization (RNAScope, BaseScope, HCR), and IF multiplex.
  • You will work closely with our research groups, requiring a deep understanding of biological questions and the ability to design histology experiments to address them.
  • Additionally, you will lead and implement development requests, including antibody validation and IF multiplex assembly.
  • Engaging with a diverse range of research groups and integrate their studies for execution in the PHC
  • Leading histology-based assays including immunohistochemistry (IHC) and fluorescent multiplex, utilizing stainers such as Ventana Discovery Ultra and Leica Bond
  • Overseeing lab operations, including the organization and procurement of materials and reagents necessary for studies, maintenance of histology equipment, and management of data records.
  • Advanced knowledge in antibody validation and assembling and scanning fluorescent multiplex is essential.
  • Proficiency in data analysis using HALO or conducting pathology assessments would be a significant advantage.
