**** Firm in Shrewsbury, NJ is seeking experienced, bilingual (Spanish and English) legal assistants to join our growing team. This is a full-time position with a starting salary of $50, plus for experienced individuals. We offer PTO, medical benefits, 401k, and a supportive work environment with growth opportunities.
Job Summary:
**** is looking to hire additional experienced, bilingual legal assistants to our team. The ideal candidate must be fluent in English and Spanish, possess previous personal injury experience, and have strong organizational and time management skills. This position will work in a hybrid remote model with 3 days in office per week required, along with select days throughout the year when the entire team is in office.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attorney support
- Speak to clients daily to discuss treatment
- Request and follow up on documents, medical records, and bills
- Organize and maintain personal injury files
- Conduct interviews with clients to gather details on injuries and treatment
- Prepare routine documents for attorneys and senior claims managers
- Manage a personal injury pre-litigation case load of 75-150 cases in different phases
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in personal injury law
- Fluency in Spanish and English
- Knowledge of contact management systems, Smart Advocate, Microsoft Word, Adobe, and multi-phone line systems
- Super organized with strong time management skills
- Ability to multi-task and follow detailed procedures and policies
- Strong writing skills and good communication with a positive attitude
