[ads1] Job Responsibilities:
  • Act as a local accounting process expert for HR in their design and use of ADP payroll systems, supported by SSC accounting teams
  • Review monthly account reconciliations prepared by SSC, assist in problem resolution of escalated issues, and improve reconciliations to better monitor and minimize risks
  • Participate in cross-team and cross-functional projects such as migration of acquired companies to Henkel payroll systems and Henkel benefits
  • Oversee activities and provide guidance to Payroll Benefits Accounting Shared Service Center (SSC) team in Manila, Philippines
  • Understand and manage Payroll Benefits processes; Seek opportunities to improve, simplify and automate the processes
  • Support HR and/or Functional Controllers to establish annual fringe benefit rates and monitor actual costs during the year
  • Support external auditors and coordinate payroll and benefits audit requests among HR and SSC during annual audit
Job Requirements:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with all levels of management and global colleagues
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and master new systems and processes, to understand and resolve issues, and to lead projects and drive changes
  • Strong Excel skills for data analysis, verification, and cost modeling; Experience with SAP a plus
  • Flexible with working hours, and willing to have meetings occasionally from home in the evenings with Manilla SSC
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business with a minimum of 3 years of accounting experience; First-hand experience handling payroll accounting and/or benefits accounting processes and issues is highly preferred. Please note that this is a Finance position instead of a HR position.
  • Able to multi-task, but still stay organized with open topics
